What Are Your Recommended File Sizes?

For the best print quality, photos intended for prints should be taken at the highest possible pixel resolution. A lower resolution photo printed at a larger size will stretch the pixels beyond the point where the image looks sharp and clear. On the other hand, it is amazing how large you can print a small (High Resolution) file that is sharp and properly exposed. Viewing your files at 100% zoom in an image application such as Photoshop will give you an excellent idea of how the print will look. The chart below will help you decide what image size works the best; in relation to your desired print size.

How Do I Know What Size Print To Order?

Our ordering system does away with the guesswork by allowing you to see exactly where your image will be cropped at any size we offer.


What Type of Files Do You Accept?

We accept high resolution JPEG & PNG files up to 100MB. For larger files, please contact custom orders@canvasdirect.com for assistance.


What if I Want My Own Custom Size?

We do offer custom sizes at Canvas Direct. Send an email to orders@canvasdirect.com.


How Do I Order?

Our order engine is quick and simple. Everything you need to order is enclosed within the engine, just drag and drop your images into our size templates and crop accordingly. Then, you can switch between styles and sizes effortlessly.


What is the Turnaround Time for an Order?

Your Prints will ship 2-3 days after your order is placed. We also can provide a “Rush It” Service that will move your order to the front of our production list.


What Forms of Payment Do You Accept?

You can use your credit cards on our website. We accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express.


Do You Accept Foreign Currency?

No. Not at this time.


What Are Shipping Times and Cost?

Standard Shipping is a 2-5 business days shipping depending on your location. Shipping Charges are $4.95 for all orders. Shipping times are in addition to the 2-3 day in-house production times.

Can I Track My Shipment?

Yes e-mail a tracking number for you to follow your shipment.


Do You Ship Outside of the United States?

No, currently we only ship within the United States.


My Order Was Damaged When I Received It.

While we make every effort to pack your  print to ensure it arrives in pristine condition, on occasion, prints are damaged during shipping. If your print is damaged when you receive it, simply orders@canvasdirect.com. You will be sent a return label and we will remake your Print at no charge to you. Please be sure to return the damaged product in its original packaging.


I Am Unhappy With My Metal Print.

Our goal is 100% WoW Factor Guarantee. If you are not satisfied with the quality or workmanship of your print, contact orders@canvasdirect.com within 30 days of receipt of your order. You will be sent a return label and we will remake your metal print at no charge to you. Keep in mind that you are responsible for the image quality, resolution and proper exposure of the files you send to Canvas Direct.
